Go Diving

Whether you are a seasoned diver or someone who hasn’t been diving in a while, Dive Bermuda is your one-stop shop for all your diving needs. For newer divers we offer the very popular Scuba Refresher course before taking you out on a dive.

As Bermuda’s only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center our 30+ years of experience in offering diving trips, snorkel tours and PADI training courses from beginner to instructor level means that you will have an unforgettable experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more. Known as the wreck capital of the world Bermuda has more than 300 wrecks available to visit with dates ranging from about 1600 to as recent as 2012.

Certified Divers

Whether you hold a PADI, BSAC, NAUI, SSI, CMAS or any other diving certification you are more than welcome to join us on our guided dives. Our dive center has a prime position on the picturesque South Shore of Bermuda and offers access to a variety of both wreck and reef dive sites, most of which are within a 20-minute boat journey.

For our certified divers, we offer a 2 tank dive every morning. The usual schedule for our morning dives is that the first dive is a wreck dive and the second dive is a reef dive so you can see the diversity within the Bermudian waters. Check-in time for our 2 tank dive trip is 8:30 am returning at around 12 pm (9:30 am - 1 pm, October 1st - May 30th).

Each afternoon we offer a 1 tank dive to a shallow reef which is an option for the inexperienced divers or for those looking to make the most out of their bottom times. Check-in time for the afternoon dive 1:45 pm returning at around 4 pm (no afternoon trip October 1st - May 30th).

For certified divers, we can also offer a whole host of specialty courses to help progress you as a diver and work towards the Master Scuba Diver rating. Details of our specialty courses on offer can be found here.

They don’t come much better than this. The whole experience was excellent with quick and efficient responses to any enquiries by email. All the staff at Dive Bermuda were very friendly, kind and went out of their way to help. So thank you all for such a great diving experience. You deserve every one of your 5 stars.

Scuba Refresher

If you have had a break from diving for a few years or just want to feel more confident in the water then our scuba refresher program will help you to feel comfortable in the water again.

The scuba refresher program is run each afternoon and includes a small skills session in the shallow water as well as a re-acquaintance with the setup of the equipment. After completing the skills, you will join the boat for the afternoon dive to a shallow reef. Check-in time 12:30 pm returning around 4 pm (9:30 am - 1 pm, October 1st - May 30th).

PADI recommends taking part in a scuba refresher program if you haven’t been diving for about 18 months, but the program is available to any certified divers looking to feel comfortable again or for inexperienced divers looking to check out the local conditions before diving.

What an amazing experience it was to take the refresher course and go out on a dive to the Southwest Breaker afterwards!! I haven’t gone on a dive in 6 years and Marlee covered all of the bases so it all came back to me. Can’t say enough good things about the Dive Bermuda team!

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course gives non-certified divers the option to experience just what the underwater world has to offer without the commitment of a full course or to try diving before advancing to the Open Water Course.

Each afternoon you can join us in the bay for a shallow water session where we will teach you some basic principles of diving after which you will join the dive boat for its departure to a shallow reef site off the South Shore of Bermuda. Check-in time 12:30pm returning around 4 pm (9:30 am - 1 pm, October 1st - May 30th).

Bermuda was voted number 2 in the Caribbean and Atlantic by Scuba Diving Magazine in 2011 for wreck diving and in 2014 Bermuda appears on the Reader’s Choice top 100 Gold List. Bermuda has both intact and historic wrecks littering the shoreline and ranging in depths from 30ft (9m) to 70ft (40m) of turquoise blue water. There is also the hunt for the wreck of the Roanoke as featured in the March 2014 Sport Diver publication.
